Paragon
Paragon’s Implants with internal hex (vs 1.6mm external octagon)
reduce vertical height, allowing more esthetic restorations where
angled abutments are needed. Paragon also, provides a more stable
platform than external octagon with narrow shoulder. And, Paragon
has double lead threads which provide faster insertion with closer
threads, meaning increased thread surface and a tapered design.
This increases initial stability in soft bone by allowing insertion
into the socket that was prepared only to the size of the intermediate
drill, with progressive taper expanding and compressing the soft
bone.
